Observations : Kaiserkeller has lost style pretty much over the last year. (IMHO) DJ Andreas spins Punk, Wave, Gothik and rarely EBM electro. DJ tends to play the same crap every week (most of the night) i.e. tunes that where hits, about 1 year ago. doesn't vary much in the electronic tunes. Sound is HORRIBLE sometimes, as he seems to fail to level it right (volume changes, bass & treble changes in the middle of the songs) has been worse month ago, but is still pretty damn annoying. Notice that since is a mid-week event, the people here are either regulars, or walk-in, tourists, etc. It's a pretty cozy location, and has been partly renovated this year (2003).

Cover : 3 Euros (1 Euro drink coupon incl.)
Door Policy : Except idiots and vandals, everyone is welcome, but the "scene" is mostly dark (may vary from time to time), depends on the holidays.
Drinks : soft drinks (cola, tonic, lemon) 2 Euros beer 3 Euros, wine 3 Euros .. good choice on the card.
Directions : Take the S1 (subway) to REEPERBAHN. Then leave the station heading down the Reeperbahn towards the IBIS Hotel. keep on the right side of the street. Große Freiheit is the street to your right-side, just after you passed the HESSBURGER restaurant. If you're looking up a street where a sign reads CULT (to the right) or DOLLHOUSE (to the left), you are where you wanted to be. Head down the street and you won't miss it. The Kaiserkeller is located in the Basement of the Große Freiheit 36 , so don't be confused. Ask !
